Statistical description and findings


The current release of the ANTISTAPHYBASE dataset contains 118 anti-MRSA sequences, of which 31 are the products of frog organisms and 24 of synthesized. Among 478 anti-S. aureus AMPs we note the presence of 280 and 81 sequences from the synthesis and the frog organisms.The database now comprises 10 and 11 genera, as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2 respectively.

The current version of ANTISTAPHYBASE holds 177 anti-MRSA EOs, 120 produced by Lamiaceae family and 30 by Myrtaceae family. We note the presence of 110 anti-Staphylococcus aureus EOs of which 70 are the products of Lamiaceae family and 14 of Myrtaceae family. ANTISTAPHYBASE comrpises 9 and 17 families as shown in figure 3 and figure 4 respectively.
